The RSS : new way to make content without write

"RSS is a family of web feed formats. The initialism "RSS" is variously used to refer to the following standards:

• RDF Site Summary (RSS 0.9 and 1.0)

So the RSS feed is use to keep in contact about the actuality of many differents websites without to check one by one every site. All the content is syndicat one only one support as Netvibes for example.

I have my own RSS and it's run with netwibes and firefox. We just need to add in favorite my blog. For do that click on the rss icon.

Cybercrime vs virtual crime

With Internet we can see how the crime exisiting on the real life is get in the virtual life. But there are many way to become a webcriminal.

But on the other hand, there are "Cyber Cops" who are protect the consumers. In fact we find them in the market under the form of software that protects our computer. (Antivirus: Norton, AVG. Antispyware : Avast!. Firewall: ZoneLabs). But with the cyber crime, the cyber criminal plays with the naivety of the net users. In fact we can receive during the navigation on the web many invitations to clicks on ads, to accept something and after many viruses are installed on our computer. On the same way, we can receive many mails all the day that are infected and could pirate our Computer. We can also receive fake mail about a bank for example, who ask to communicate account number and passwords...
To fight the cyber crime it is very important to make sensitive net users to the dangers on the web.

As everybody I think I have been a victim of the cyber crime, and to protect my self I use much software to protect my computer, and I am very watchful on the web.

YouTube : make fun & make money

YouTube is today the most important website for share videos, little movies or extract of tv-show. It is also a one of ten websites the most popular with 30 millions visitors each month. That's why the biggest browser: Google has bought it for 1.65 billions dollars. Create in February 2005 by Chad Hurley, Jawed Karim and Steven Chen, this is now a company who employ 65 persons.

The first reason to grow up of this website: the urge about the net users to share their life as we do with blog. But also a "normal" person can feed his personal performance: music, dance, etc..
There is a very good example with the singer Kamini. A French person, who make a sing and a video clip in two day, upload it in Youtube and six month later: Kamini sign for Universal music.



The key of the success of Youtube is its simplicity. It is very easy to show on the entire world his video: Erwan and me grow up today for the glory with our "vie pratique facile". Everybody can use it, it's why I think it run so well. In fact to use it :

• Create a movie
• Create an account on Youtube : only two clicks and it's free
• Upload the movie : only one clicks
• It's done

With this story about Youtube we can imagine that in the future, for the industry about music and movie, the new talents will be discover on this website. And it is really interesting for the company because the new artists success already on the web. So there are less risk to invest with him.
But in the other hand, with the development of this site we can download illegal content as movies, video clip, which are not free. It does can become a new "napster" where all is free, but all is not legally.

6 qualities to success easely

First, generosity, patience, discipline, insight, perseverance, comprehension are the six qualities of good professional activity.

Generosity
The RSS feed is the perfect example of generosity in the web today. In fact I think that the syndication of the different website show that everybody on the web can (and is allowed) to share information. Also on my weblog I create a RSS with xfruits. Patience
This notion is hard to define on the web because, with the new technologies, the user wants "all and now". We can show this tendency with the technologies used by the company on internet to accelerate the connection. But we can find example of patience on the web. In fact with Erwan we try to earn money in internet with our blogs, we make ads on the page with "Google Adsense" but it is really longer. We must waiting a long time to receive 10$. It is i think a form of patience.

Discipline
The Internet could appear as a world without rules, because all is possible. But the better company on the web are the most professional and rigorous. Because the user need to beleive on reference on the web : Google is a reference because them services are professional and credible : GoogleEarth for exemple, is not a fake is really the picture of all the world.

Insight
With the new technologies it is very important to have a original vison of the futur. To have the good vision. The success of youtube, myspace, flickr are the result of a good insight. The creators see about what the futur will make. How the consummer will use internet : for share movies, music, culture or play together. The videogame industrie work hard to make the game as "MMORPG" : game online with many people.

Perseverance
To success on Internet we need this quality ! All isn't easy and many time it is important to work hard and a long time to success. With Erwan we work on a secret project, but we know that we will need many time to get money and glory...

Because a creator of a new business model understand what the consumer wants : it make the business well. For exemple, website like Youtube. The creator has understood that in internet many people shearch for funny movie, and shearch how to feed themself movies ! Today, Google buy this website for 1 650 000 000 $. The comprehension make success.

Could we learn english with Internet ?

As all the world is open, all the documentations in many languages are approachable. We can read newspaper online in english, we can listen podcast in english, many ways are available.

First : the podcast !

The podcasting is a way of broadcasting sound files on Internet. He allows the users to join a feed and to get back new audio files automatically. The podcasting distinguishes itself from the other way of broadcasting information by its use of the format: RSS. The podcast is not a song in live but recorded to be used later on ipod for example. And the name "podcast" is not registered by a company as trademark.
