1. The exercise we did in class this week involved finding information. What was your best source of information to answer the questions? Why? What other strategies did you use to answer the questions?
My best source was my culture of the web and my memorie, because we have speak about there notions in class. I use too browser like Google to find answer. And Wikipedia.org because most of the time it's really interessant.
2. At the end of class, we had a collection of answers available to all of you in the form of each student's blog. What is this effect called and what does it do? How can it be useful to you? Did you use it? What types of situations or tasks can it be useful in?
I think it coud be interessant, we are on the community >> the community of the Spaulding class.
But I think that we must work on it a lot, for it could be useful well.
3. In more and more professions, the application of e-communications skills like we are developing are increasingly important. Give three examples of professions you are interested in where this is the case.
I think that like I want to work in a web agency, all applications of e-communication will be interesting for me. But in an other hand work for the communication of a company could interest me too. Or for humanitary organisation all over the world : so i need to improve me english for that...
4. Concerning the practice of ripping: what is your point of view on this practice? Is it illegal? Is it unethical? What are the moral considerations? Do you consider it normal? Why?
I rip. I don't make money with it so I think is not illegal. But it is unethical for the majo to sell CD and DVD so expensive. I rip DVD to keep rent DVD.
5. What are three things you learned from this exercise, two things that interested you, and one question you still have about the subjects mentioned?
- Long tail marketing, Briks and clicks, Tivo
- Tivo, Vod
- DRM
